Teenager's 100 pound weight reduction leads to overseas adventure
Cody Adamson, 18, has been overweight most of his life. However it wasn't until the numbers around the scale prevented him from the water adventure he
changed his lifestyle.
Within a year's time, Adamson meizitang soft gel lost 100 pounds. His initial motivation originated from the possible letdown of the inability to join his Boy Scouts of the usa
troop on a holiday towards the Bahamas.
He said the troop planned a trip there this past year to sign up within the Florida National High Adventure Sea Base program. This program offers troop
members aquatic activities such as scuba diving, sailing and fishing, based on its website www.bsaseabase.org.
Adamson wanted to join the rest of the scouts on their journey, but unfortunately he didn't satisfy the eligibility requirements. Sea Base participants must
be in good health and can't exceed 295 pounds.
At that time, Adamson weighed about 330.
An overweight person only need try looking in the mirror to see the most obvious, but obesity also offers impacts inside the body the mirror can't show.
Being overweight could make someone less confident to be involved in physical acts and even prevent somebody from doing an activity they really want because
of health concerns.
Instead of giving up the opportunity for a new experience, Adamson decided now was the time for a transformation.
"I changed from eating whatever I what, whenever I want and never ever exercising to visiting the gym every second day," he said.
Adamson said those changes fruta planta diet pills made a big difference and he lost more than 30 pounds, making them eligible to attend the ocean Base program last May.
"The trip was awesome. We hopped around different Bahamian islands every day and basically lived in a sailboat for any week," he said.
